It's incredible what can happen in a room when a team collectively subordinates their egos and focuses on solving the actual problems.

Love this, especially "When someone feels attacked, their first instinct isn’t to solve the problem—it’s to protect themselves." This instinct is further entrenched when we maintain assumptions of how others perceive us, our own sense of identity and capability, and what it means to succeed.
